Belfast Pride is always one to remember and this year will be no different. The Mince collective are collaborating with Clipped, a local DJ collective throwing regular parties across the city. Mince resident DJs Thom & Chanty with be joined by Weht, Princess Glitoris, Sophie Shaw, Caolan Patrick & Matthew Bennet for what is going to be an absolutely banging night.
The music at Mince takes inspiration from the underground queer discos of the 70s and 80s with a modern twist. Think Paris is burning meets Berghain.
The night starts with easing in the crowd in with some classics intertwined with pumping 90s house. As the night progresses things will gradually get deeper and heavier.Mid way through the night tracks will filter in at the heavier end of italo/disco/house with full bodied synth lines thumping kicks and vocal riffs/chops.
The final build of energy will leads into vibrant techno/trance warehouse vibe encouraging people to ‘mince’ around and dance the night away
