Since emerging in 2021, Regent’s blueprint for melting bold percussive grooves with distinct cerebral layers and enveloping moods has manifested across catalogues of esteemed players like ARTS, Mutual Rytm, and positivesource. Renowned for its rich textures and anthemic pulse, Regent’s sound has not only made him a notable presence in Berlin’s scene but also as a purveyor of tracks that resonate deeply on dance floors worldwide.
Behind the decks, Regent is known to traverse the wide spectrum of techno, from tripped-out depths to the raw, unyielding peaks, always leveraging his extensive catalogue of unreleased material to craft unique moments and explorations for the audience. Starting to first DJ at off-location parties around Berlin in his youth, Regent has since shared his vision across venues worldwide, including the renowned Tresor Club or RSO in his hometown, as well as warehouse parties in Paris, Lisbon or Melbourne to name a few.
Regent’s approach is one of perpetual curiosity, seeking inspiration from all over to break new ground and enrich his music with diverse influences. Always trying to learn from his surroundings en route, he continues to push conceptual boundaries and further deepen his signature past-meets-future sound with standout mixes & productions.
